For those of you who don’t know, I am obsessed with Storm Troopers. Yes, I like Star Wars, but not at a “code red” level of geek. I feel that I have a healthy love and appreciation for the galaxy far, far, away, but those original storm trooper uniforms are just bad ass! (Ok, so maybe I am a geek. Don’t judge. I see you judging.)
So I wanted some original, yet “classy”, storm trooper artwork for my home. Check out THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR page to see what I came up with.

Now I am sure that I am not the first person to come up with this concept, but I thought superimposing the Storm Trooper helmet on to some very iconic imagery would be a great addition to an empty wall in the corner of my dining room. So on a random Thursday night I broke out my laptop, fired up photoshop, and got to work. About 2 hours later I had designed four concept pieces. That following weekend I took a trip to Ikea, snagged four 9×9 shadow box frames, printed out my artwork, and put them together. A hammer, 4 nails, and a glass of wine later, and the artwork was complete and displayed in the dinning room.
