This show will answer some of the most important sports questions that have been debated in bars for years…like “Who is the one athlete you’d want to take on a date?”. We are talking serious stuff here people!

I was very fortunate to direct, produce, design, and edit this entire series with the help of an extremely talented Boston area artist, Derek Cilla, and with Graphic Animator Jason Sokol.

This is my fourth consecutive Emmy nomination, and I am humbled by it every time.

The New England Emmy’s are coming up on June 2, 2012. Fingers crossed.

Filming took place in Lynn, Massachusetts. The set was constructed inside of a small corner pizza parlor that had been renovated into Ryan’s character’s office. I don’t care what Patriots fans have to say…Rex Ryan is awesome. He was a great interview, and a really nice guy. Don’t get me wrong, I love Bill Belichick…but I’d play my ass of for Ryan if I was in the NFL. Side note: Rex is an appropriate name for that guy, as in like a T-Rex. I’m 6 foot 2, and he towered over me…plus he’s well…huge.

A while back I posted about getting a chance to meet and interview Alan Covert who I am sure you know from one of my favorite comedys “Grandma’s Boy”. Covert is one of the writers of “I Hate You Dad”. I saw him walking around on set and asked to interview him. He’s a great guy, and we spoke for awhile afterwards about a number of projects he is working on. Interviewing Ryan and Sandler rates as 6 or 7 for me. Interviewing the genius behind “Grandma’s Boy”…that’s a solid 10.

The band released the video today, after having a private viewing party last night in Lowell, MA.

I was the Director, Producer, and Editor for the video, but without the talents of Director of Photography, Tom Guilmette, and Assistant Director, Bill Travers, the video wouldn’t have been a success.

I know you can’t see it here but the large crowd was able to watch the video on two large screens. Great response to the video from everyone there.

Adam Fithian, lead singer of Prospect Hill, called me up on stage to say thanks and have me say a few words about making the video after it played for the crowd. Totally put on the spot!

After the video debuted Prospect Hill took the stage to play an acoustic set. Great night for these guys. I am really happy for them, and hope big things are coming their way. Cheers.

Filming will take place in the last 2 weeks of October. Look for a release sometime in November.

As, always my good friend and one of the best DP’s on the east coast, Tom Guilmette will be behind the lens for this shoot.

I am also pleased to announce that MTV’s “The Challenge” star Cara Maria Sorbello is slated to star in this video.
