I had the opportunity to talk to Andrew Ference while he walked to work at the Boston Garden before a playoff game against the Montreal Canadians.
Ference is an environmentalist and has started a carbon neutral program in conjunction with the NHL to lower the leagues carbon footprint. We talked about his passion for making the world a “greener” place, and how setting the example of how easy it can be to accomplish is something he takes pride in.
